Welcome to Jack Mountain Ranch, owned and managed by Hal and Betty Meyer. We have been in the longhorn industry for about 8 years; which is but a blink of an eye for the many breeders for which this is a life long passion. We are committed to breeding and managing quality and excellence in the our longhorns, both now and for the future. Those attributes include color, horn, disposition and genetics.
We started our herd small and have continued to build in quality longhorns including Butler and blended longhorn genetics. Our herd sire today is RVR Marhsall Dillon that we purchased in the Spring 2010 and we are expecting a strong calf crop from Marshall Dillon in 2011. Also at Jack Mountain Ranch we are engaged in an extensive AI program including straight Butler and excellent blended longhorn bull semen that will compliment and enhance genetics for future breeding on the ranch.
